Terms of service
Terms of service
Last updated 31 August 2026.
These are the terms you agree to when you use thepetlarder.com or buy from it. We have tried to write them in normal English. Please read them.
1. Who you are dealing with
The Pet Larder is a trading name of FounderWise, LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Delaware, United States, registered at 169 Madison Ave, STE 55606, New York, NY 10016, United States, company number Delaware file number 10642038.
In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company. "You" means the person using the site or placing the order.

2. What we sell, and what we do not
The Pet Larder sells supplies for the care and keeping of pets. Grooming kit, dental care, bowls and feeders, bedding, toys, travel gear, cleaning, and habitat for small animals, birds and fish.
We sell nothing that is meant to be eaten. No pet food, no treats, no edible chews, no supplements. This is deliberate. Nothing we sell is intended for consumption by an animal or a person.
Nothing on this site is veterinary advice. Product descriptions are not a diagnosis and are not a treatment plan. If your animal is unwell, please speak to a vet.
3. How we get products to you
We do not hold stock. Every item is shipped directly by the independent supplier who stocks it. This has consequences you should understand before ordering, and they are set out in our Shipping policy. In particular, delivery times vary a great deal between suppliers and an order can arrive as several separate parcels.
4. Product descriptions and images
Product information, specifications and images are supplied to us by our suppliers. We edit and check what we can. We cannot guarantee that every specification is perfect, and screens show colour differently, so an item may not be exactly the shade you saw.
If a product arrives materially different from how it was described, that is a fault and our Refund and returns policy covers it.
5. Prices and errors
Prices are in United States dollars. Sales tax, where it applies, is added at checkout.
We can change prices at any time before you order. Occasionally a product is listed at an obviously wrong price. If that happens, we are not obliged to sell at that price. We will contact you, and you can either confirm at the correct price or cancel and be refunded in full.
6. Your order, and when a contract is formed
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. The confirmation email you get straight away is a receipt of that offer, not our acceptance of it.
A contract is formed when we dispatch the item, or notify you that we have. Until then we can decline an order, for example if the supplier turns out not to have stock, if we suspect fraud, or if the delivery address is outside the United States. If we decline, we refund you in full.
7. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider, Shopify Payments. We never see or store your full card number. By paying, you confirm that the card or account is yours or that you have permission to use it.
8. Your account
If you create an account, keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access. Give us accurate details, because a wrong delivery address is the single most common reason an order goes astray.
9. Using the site properly
Please do not attempt to break into the site, scrape it at a scale that degrades it, upload anything malicious, resell our content, or use the site for anything unlawful. We can suspend access if you do.
10. Our content
The name The Pet Larder, the site design, our written descriptions and our photography are ours or are licensed to us. You may not copy them for commercial use without our permission. You are welcome to share links.
11. Links to other sites
Where we link out, we do not control what is on the other end and we are not responsible for it.
12. Availability of the site
We will try to keep the site up. We do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may change or withdraw products and pages without notice.
13. Limits on our liability
We are responsible for supplying goods that match their description and are of satisfactory quality. If we fail at that, our Refund and returns policy applies.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss that we could not have reasonably foreseen, for business losses, or for loss caused by a delay in delivery where we did not promise a delivery date. We have deliberately not promised one.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by anything in these terms.
14. Safe use of products
Use products as intended and supervise your animal with them. Toys, chew items, grooming tools and habitat equipment can be damaged by an animal and become unsafe. Check them and replace them when they are worn.
15. Privacy
How we handle your personal information, including what our suppliers can see about you, is set out in our Privacy policy. Please read it. It is more specific than most, because a dropship store passes your name and address to third parties in order to ship to you, and you should know that.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you ordered. The date at the top tells you when this version was published.
17. Governing law and where disputes are heard
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, where the operating company is registered, and disputes are heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. If consumer law where you live gives you rights that cannot be excluded by agreement, those rights are unaffected by this clause.
